My name is Jolanda, Yoga teacher and co-founder of Yoganda. My yoga journey began in the living room of my London flat, with books and online tutorials.
It was 2011 and since then, it’s been love!
I’ve always been passionate about wellness, sport (I was a volleyball player before ending up in an office), so I started practising yoga more often, in a local studio, at the park and at home, discovering that yoga is not a sport, it’s a way of life!
I felt that I was happier, stronger and the more I practised, the better I felt. I was becoming a “yoga addicted”
A few years later, in 2017, I decided to quit my job as event manager, hang up my high heels and move to a place where I didn’t need them anymore: India.
A fantastic experience, studying Traditional Hatha yoga and Ashtanga yoga with extremely knowledgeable yogis and gurus. They inspired me to be a transformer, not a teacher, to share not to teach.
I learned yoga asanas, pranayama, yoga philosophy, meditation, all most of all I learned to be happy with small things. All these are powerful tools that everyone can use for living a healthy and happy life.
Today, I am a happy yogi and teacher. As a natural seeker, I devoted my life to studying and experiencing yoga, to learn and share my wisdom for everyone to enjoy.
It is pure blessing to share my journey with you.
Sharing is the only way to elevate our existence.
I’ve experienced on my skin how Yoga, Meditation & Pranayama benefit body and mind, and I think everybody should enjoy all the benefits that yoga has to offer.
I am so thrilled to share the knowledge I’ve gained in the past few years of practice and study and be part of your yoga path.
Helping others find inner peace is my aim.

Everything in my life turns around Yoga and ancient holistic practices
The origin of the ancient science of ‘Yog’.Following the teachings of Patanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga, Hatha yoga is the essence of yoga. A magic journey to understand and love your body, while soothing the mind. Focused on breath and body awareness, Hatha yoga enhances physical and mental well-being.
Those who can control the breath and the mind can achieve anything in life. This is said about Pranayama (Control of the breath) and Dhyana (Meditation) in the ancient Vedic texts. It’s only through the breath that the practice of yoga can happen. Take each breath with awareness and your body will be empowered and your mind ready to meditate and absorb the benefits.
Strength. Focus. StaminaAshtanga yoga gave life to modern yoga and vinyasa practices. Strongly centered on breath, bandhas and focus, it helps to develop muscles strength, increase stamina and improve mental activity.
